Like many businesses, InterDecor has been closed since
23rd March 2020, in compliance of HM Government's
lockdown instructions. Although many businesses have
now reopened, I am still 'shielding' due to a
pre-existing underlying lung condition, exacerbated
by a suppressed immune system.
The Government has now announced that 'shielding'
will be suspended on 31st July 2020 but will remain
under review. Assuming no change in Government
advice between now and 31st July 2020, InterDecor
will recommence trading with effect from
Monday 3rd August 2020, starting with customers
whose bookings were placed on hold
when lockdown was first announced.
Our work practices will of course have to be reviewed,
to ensure that we operate within strict 'COVID Safe' guidelines
set out by HM Government e.g. social distancing, hand washing
and hygiene etc. The risk of Coronavirus is still very much
with us all and the health and safety of our customers,
ourselves and our respective families is our top priority.
In Association With
6th July 2020
I believe that my rates are competitive, charging labour
from £170.00 per day, for an eight hour working day.
The cost of materials will be detailed separately and
itemised on your estimate and prices shown will be
those prevailing at the time the estimate is prepared.
Sometimes, prices can change between the time the
estimate was prepared and when your materials are
purchased for the work to be completed. Prices may
increase or decrease and in that event, you will be
invoiced for the amount that I am actually charged
at the time of purchase. I will be more than happy
to exhibit receipts to you, should you require.
If you intend to purchase your own materials, or if you
have already done so, then please inform me of this when
I visit to discuss your decorating requirements. I will
need to know which brand you have chosen, as not all
brands are of equal quality. I use quality brands including
Dulux Trade; Crown Trade; Albany Trade (Brewers own brand);
Armstead Trade (Dulux Decorator Centre's own brand) and
Leyland Trade. Farrow & Ball paint is also a popular
choice with some customers, but it isn't manufactured
in a trade formulation. It is a retail paint and therefore
manufactured to a thinner consistency, requiring the
application of three coats compared to two coats of a
reputable Trade paint. You will therefore appreciate that
this will increase the total cost of labour and materials.
Don't delay making contact with me and however you
choose to do so, you are assured of a prompt response to
arrange a mutually convenient date and time to visit you.
Out of courtesy and respect for my clients, I don't normally
undertake any estimate visits during the working day as
the client for whom I am currently working deserves
to receive my undivided attention. My contact details
are shown on my 'Contact InterDecor' page so just
click on this link to take you to my contact numbers.
If contacting me by text, please ensure that you
also include your name and indicate a preferred
time for me to call you back.
